I’m a graphic designer who moved to Asheville a year ago from Brooklyn, NY. My household includes a lovely wife, 2 fat old cats, 1 hyper young puppy, and a recently deceased turtle. We love the outdoors and visit waterfalls as often as possible. You can’t do this everywhere but when you can get to where you’re standing right under the falling water - there’s nothing like it to wake you up and make you go Wooo!

I’ve parachuted from a plane (scary), run with the bulls (scarier), and spent the night drunk asleep on the subway (was not scared - asleep). I was an expert marksman with an M16 rifle and 50Cal machine gun but was never great at throwing grenades. I’ve always liked climbing trees but find it harder to do as I get older.

My two favorite books are The Illiad (Stanley Lombardo translation) and Catch 22. Although my two favorite writers are Tom Robbins and Ernest Hemingway. My two favorite movies are Requiem for a Dream and Bridge Over the River Kwai. My two favorite beverages are the Black Lightning flavor of iced tea that Snapple used to make in that funky-looking bottle and Pisgah Pale Ale. And my favorite flavor of ice cream is the Carrot Cake Cappucino that Haagen Daaz used to make. Damn, damn good! Damn good.
